Joe Biden: The RIAA Candidate

Looks like a vote for Obama-Biden is a vote for the RIAA.  Dear Senator Joe also thinks that there's no such thing as too much wiretapping, and that if you use encryption you should have to surrender the keys upon demand; and his Omnibus Counterterrorism Act of 1995 laid the groundwork for the much-reviled PATRIOT Act and has co-written bills with him.

Heck, Dianne Feinstein likes him.  That should be enough of a counter-recommendation for anyone.

CNN played back some choice condescending comments he made about guns back during the Youtube debates. We has positively preening himself about his role ion the Assault Weapons Ban of 1994.

I guess it's time to admit I'm a Libertarian. A liberal Libertarian, but still...

I realized some years ago the best way to attract a lot of government attention nowadays is just to quote the Federalist Papers and advocate those same ideals the authors did.

I think Democracy ought to be the song of our discontent this election season. I’ve yet to hear anything as honest, as bleak, and yet as hopeful, about the entire American Experiment.

I only wish I could share in its optimism.
