How many times have you looked at a product listing on a web store site, and wished you could see a bit more detail?  But, aha!, there's a link below the product photo that says "Larger photo".  So you click the link ...

... and up pops a window with the exact same photo, the exact same size, just with more whitespace around it.

NOT USEFUL!

Web retailers:  If you don't have a larger photo, don't pretend you do.  All it does is piss off customers, who — even if they still buy the product — will now probably do their best to buy it somewhere ELSE.

I tell them that if I can. "Why should I deal with a company that will not properly display it's products. I want a reasonably full sized picture of the product from several angles. If you're so thread bare and paranoid about bandwidth or are to lazy, poorly staffed or incompetent to do this then your price means NOTHING to me as I will expect you to botch my order as well"

Yea it's a hot button and I love pissing someone there off.
