Actually, a diamond is for about 10¹⁶⁰ years, like pretty much everything else.

Well, yeah, there's that too. But in about 10¹⁶⁰ years, the protons will decay. Then everything made of baryonic matter is fucked. :)

hopefully we'll crunch back into a new universe by then and will have a whole new set of fresh shiny protons or proton equivalents to play with.
