UPDATE:  I forgot to mention he also linked to this independently-developed bicycle version (original link from mactavish).  Now THIS is cool.  Could do wonders for night-time visibility of bicyclists....

I'd be tempted to upload an image of a wheel hub, so it looks like the wheels are never moving.

Digital swept imaging on a rotating wheel to simulate spinners. There's something very perversely warped about that.
