Yes, there are severe neuropathy issues. It's gotten a lot better than it was, but that's not saying much. Stepping on the corner of a towel on a thick bath mat with that foot is painful. Stepping on a pencil lying flat on a carpeted floor is painful. Neither one will send me through the ceiling any more, but yes, to all practial purposes I'm in pain 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Circulation, too, has gotten a lot better ... but is still compromised. A 30mmHg compression sock helps somewhat. Being able to run for exercise would help more, but toe pain and limited ankle motion almost completely preclude that. My walking endurance isn't sufficient to do much good.
