That looks horrid! Do you have a good foot doctor in this new place? I worry about your feet, since I have a good inkling of how much foot injuries hurt.

Not yet, no.
I'm pretty certain that little toe's going to have to come off. It's no longer serving any useful purpose, and is a definite liability because it's so painful.

I don't think it's really contributing anything to balance now. I can't put any weight on that toe; any pressure on it in any direction is excruciatingly painful.
