An odd question in this day and age anyway, perhaps.
I have -- or had -- a horn... no, not on my head or on my car, I'm talking about one of those things that sticks out the side of a steer's head. B-flat trombone mouthpiece in it, blow the horn to signal ... well, lately most often to signal "Supper's ready", actually.
Anyway, Wednesday night, I broke it. A deep chip out of the edge that I could have dealt with by just trimming it back, except that I also cracked it down one side for slightly more than half its length. It needs replacement.
The question, probably largely directed at any of my SCAdian readers, is this: How in blazes am I going to find a replacement?
(It doesn't necessarily have to be a cow's horn. A ram's horn, for instance, would probably work just as well, possibly better. And no, I don't remember where I got the first one. I think I've had it about fifteen years.)
