And out in flyover country, clear channel has bought everything and runs it remotely. There's frequently not even a human being inside those stations.

There's a business case for doing local content in the big cities, but it is much harder to justify for a town of 50k.

There were one or two country stations, and a heck of a lot of hip-hop, too.
