Yet many people who should know better persist in spelling it "Ghandi" instead. The same people will huffily correct you if you should chance to misspell the name of their favorite pop star, rapper, or baseball/football/basketball player. "No, it's Britney, not Brittany." "Yo, homie, it be Snoop Doggy Dogg, with two G's. Word."
