Well, there's a kind of twisted logic to that, believe it or not. :) "For lo, it is written, that among the Bitminers, they shall be divided unto twain; there shall be the Thugs, and there shall be the Twigboys. And it is given unto the Thugs to play ice hockey, while it falleth unto the Twigboys to pursue the martial arts; but many of them do play ice hockey anyway, for verily, they all are Bitminers also."
So I fall, or fell, into the Twigboy category (until I started pumping seal, anyway), I'm a born-again biker, and there's always been a strong streak of Zen in my personal mysticism. And there you have it. :)
