Was it Big Al who proposed the Court Clerk Slap Law? The one where the Court Clerk looks at the birth certificate and says, "Mr. and Mrs. Kane? You want to name your daughter 'Candy'?! *WHACK!* Think again!"?
Heh. Reminds of something I overheard while in high school. I was at the local community college waiting for someone to pick me up after class. The receptionist and one of the sectetaries were talking. This old black man had come up to the sectetary to tell her about his new grandchild. Just one small problem. He could pronounce the baby's name but couldn't spell it. So the secretary spelled it for him. That solved that problem. But a new one occured. Now he couldn't pronounce the baby's name anymore. The grandfather then complained, "Why couldn't she have given him a simple name? Like I did for her. We named her Susan."
