Way to fucking go, impatient Metrocast service van driver #87, who just blew past us at 15 over, on a double yellow, in the rain, approaching a blind curve on a twisty, hilly two-lane road through the woods with lousy sightlines.  Care to take a guess at WHY that entire stretch of road is double yellow?

Does the LR3 have extra-sturdy "on the sides of the windscreen" pillars to ensure moose don't enter that way? Probably my most favouritest piece of Volvo design (at least in the "normal car" space, the C-202 and C-303 have other neat features and so does the tracked Volvos).

No, unfortunately, but the damned thing's built like a tank, so it should be somewhat moose-resistant.

Not that I'm planning to find out any time soon...

If the windscreen sides are the classic Landy I-bars, instead of the flimsy tinfoil used in most production cars, "probably".

The Mini-cedes is also built like a tank for which I am grateful and also unwilling to pit it against a moose. After all, there's no way it is large enough to actually carry home an entire moose.
