Via [livejournal.com profile] libertarianhawk, two articles about drawing Mohammed, about why political correctness is cowardice, and about why a religion that says it is a noble act to attempt to blow up hundreds of innocent bystanders, including women and children, because you are offended by a cartoon, is a religion that does not deserve respect.

To dismiss the whole of Islam because of a few nutjobs is on a par with dismissing the whole of Christianity based on the rantings of people like the Westboro Baptists, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, et al.

Every religion has its lunatic fringe and all lunatic fringes are tolerated to a greater or lesser extent by the parent religion.
