I had the misfortune to hear something by Yoko Ono once. It convinced me she must have had something on John Lennon somehow, because I can't imagine any musician ever willingly marrying someone who made such a godawful horrible noise. It sounded like someone butchering live rabbits, except louder.
After some additional thought, I find myself able to characterize it only as atonal, unintelligible screeching.
Many years ago, "We're Geniuses in France" (Chicago public access sketch comedy show) did a flip of the John Lennon bio film, as a Yoko Ono bio film ("He wooined all my songs...") including her performing a song called "Screech" which consisted of repeated screeches. It was parody so true, it was kind of hard to tell the difference.
Of course, their best piece back then was Palukaville, a spoof of Alphaville.
