1) I don't know if the flying prototype had folding wings. If not, that may still be a technical issue requiring considerable effort to overcome.
2) Getting it certified for road use. This probably will require crash testing and all that. Unless some sort of waiver is available that provides for limitations on its use but I'm not aware of any such.
