"How dare you oppose the CPSIA?  Are you some kinda child-hating commie or something?"

OK, Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) didn't exactly use those words, and she didn't actually mention communists.  But the tone of the letter she sent to Kathleen Fasanella of Fashion-Incubator is pretty offensive.  Schakowsky stops barely short of calling Fasanella un-American, but is unashamedly pulling the "Why do you hate children?" gambit.
