Economics 101

I drafted the Silly Goose to help me haul deadfalls up from the back lot for firewood.  We'd just made it up to the back deck with the largest load so far, a fallen tree heavy enough that the two of us could barely manage it.

"I don't get paid enough for this," Goose declared.  Then she stopped and thought for a moment.

"...Wait a minute.  I don't get paid!"

Footnote: At a first approximation, it looks like we cut about a sixth of a cord of wood.
