My journal is called _____ because _____.
My subtitle is _____ because _____.
My friends page is called _____ because _____.
My username is ____ because _____.

My journal is called "Habeamus plus vis computatoris quam Deus" because someone on a mailing list I read once asked for a translation of a motto into Latin, and through the power that is ICB, I was able to help him out ... and I decided I liked the line, which means "We have more computing power than God."  (And frankly, it's true.  There's enough computing power in this house to run a medium-sized company.  Hell, I have a six-way Sun Ultra Enterprise 3000 under the table next to me.)

My subtitle is "Ramblings of a Unix Ronin" because ... well, damn, that's what I am, these days.  I most definitely feel like a ronin, and I definitely ramble from time to time.

My friends page is called "All You Zombies" partly as a nod to Robert Anson Heinlein, and partly as a reference to the song of that title by the Hooters.  "All you zombies show your faces, all you people in the street..."

My username is Unixronin because ... well ... see above.
