Thanks to all who replied with good wishes to cymrullewes' Splat Day observation post.  For myself, I think I overdid it yesterday, and my upper back is letting me know it today with major soreness behind my shoulderblades.

(Actually, according to the police report, the station wagon was pretty fucked up too. I doubt it was worth a lot, so it's entirely possible their insurance company declared it totalled.)
