This is absolutely repulsive.

So much for my planning to use that site more. I'm not going to delete my page, but the hell with updating it or posting there.

Who cares? It's MySpace for fuck's sake. This is like being ejected from the Pedophile Club.

Well, yeah. I don't have any use for it myself either. One has the impression 50% of the MySpace population are 15 years old, and 20% are FBI agents pretending to be 15 years old.

I know WE don't like My Space. That is why we are here. But lots of people think that it is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
It should be noted that it appears that this wasn't actually done by My Space, but by a hacker who proceeded to really mess things up. But what sucks is that when some atheist did the same thing to a Jesus Freak group, they were given Special Protection and for the Atheist Group My Space is silent. It does say where My Space is coming from.
Still glad I'm not on My Space.

I don't use myspace, but they certainly have a right to decide what does and doesn't go on their servers.

However, it decidedly lacks class not to say up front that some kinds of groups one wouldn't normally think of, like atheists and agnostics, are not welcome. People spend a lot of time, as I understand it, putting together their sites only to have them deleted for things listed nowhere in terms of service.

Fortunately, there appear to be a lot of eager young companies lining up to take a piece of Myspace's market share. Thirty-five thousand new users in one chunk would be quite a boost to any of them.

Yup. And as far as the future of MySpace is concerned, I have no objection to MySpace committing business Darwinism in such a fashion.
