It was so cold ...

I went out to fuel the car and buy groceries today.  It was bitterly cold, enough so that while I was fuelling the car I felt a little tug on my pants leg.  I looked down to see a little foot-tall brass monkey standing there, looking up at me with his teeth chattering.  Poor little sod wanted a lift to the nearest welding shop....
