It has a certain weird internal logic, if you use the premises "what is good for Big Business is good for Everyone" and "wishing will make it so."

Yeah, there's a rather large element of willing suspension of disbelief involved, along with a sizeable chunk of "Do what I say, not what I do."

But hey, we're talking about politicians. What else is new?
