Friending

Yesterday, dr_nebula held one of his periodic friending frenzies.  I understand it was a roaring success.

Friending frenzies aren't really my thing.  But, just for giggles and grins, I'm going to do something a little different.  Unlike dr_nebula, I'm not going to ask you to toot your own horn.  Nope, I'm going to be meaner than that.

Here's my challenge/invitation:  I call upon you to recommend someone else, not already on my f-list¹, to myself and your fellow readers of my ramblings, introduce them, and explain why you chose that person to recommend.  Even one reason is enough — but you must be able to come up with at least one good, specific reason why you think either I or at least one other person on my f-list should friend them.

[1]  No, I'm not going to be evil enough to make you check all my readers' f-lists as well.  Just one level of list checking is enough.

urban_nature not so much a user as a group. veddy intereting local nature photography and facts and critters. i'd recommend the guy who created it, as he's all kinds of fascinating (a zookeeper), and post entertaining and thought provoking stuff about stuff and nature (urbpan and his 365 days of nature project from last year or so.

there are others, but you'll have to pick through my lists yerself. see who's in common with other people. one for now is good though.
