Good for them! It's about time that someone was upfront about using all this lovely personal data that people spew all over the place. Maybe people will wake up about the value of it, and stop friending everyone in sight; or, conversely, maybe targeted advertising will get smart enough that we don't actually *mind* it.
Or, maybe, spontaneous porcine levitation will occur.
Facebook is, alas, limited to those who wish to advertise to its audience, e.g., all the old people on it are going to get pharmaceutical ads, whether they want it or not.
