It is reported by Locus that Leigh Eddings, wife of David Eddings, died on February 28 after suffering a series of strokes.

First he sets his garage on fire and loses his precious Excalibur and the original manuscripts for most of his novels, now this. Poor man.

I was thinking the same thing. Seems like the Universe has it in for him right now.
