You are Python You are slower than others, but easier to understand. You are a minimalist, who doesn't like clutter.
Which Programming Language are You?

"This program wouldn't VOOM if you put five thousand volts through it!"

I really should get around to learning Python some day.

But think how many banks rely on you! :)

I got visual basic. Please excuse me while I go kill myself.

Python is awesome. If you are already an experienced programmer, you can learn it in 10 minutes, and confidently start a multi-thousand line project in a day or two.

An experienced programmer, or an experienced object-oriented programmer?

1 day if you are experienced with OOP. 2 days if you aren't. :P

I got, Lots of Irritating Single Parens (LISP), What a PITA! It is one of the few languages that just do not make sense to me. It is like Pascal, I can read it alright, I just can not produce working code in it.

You should feel very fortunate, once you get past the OOP thing, python is really quite nice.

(I (used to (know (how to (write LISP) once)))).) I tried applying that knowledge to Scheme, and it didn't seem to apply too well.

I got Smalltalk. Is that good or bad?

That probably depends on who you ask. :)

I'm a complete naif with computers and programing codes.
What does it do?

Well ... there are many people who will tell you that Smalltalk is the best and purest of all object-oriented programming languages. There are some who would probably go so far as to say that it's the ONLY true object-oriented programming language, though I wouldn't go that far myself. (By comparison, C++ and Objective-C (for example) are just C with object extensions bolted on, and while Perl has object-oriented features and supports object-oriented programming, it's very inconsistent about how it does it. Python and Java are both valid and useful object-oriented languages though.)

On the other hand, Smalltalk was never a big commercial success, and there's very little these days it's actually used for.

I got C. Cool!
