Jerkin' Back and Forth

We've all seen people come out of the store and park their shopping cart in the parking space next to theirs, then casually drive off leaving the abandoned cart blocking the parking space.  It 's depressingly common.

Still, it takes a special kind of lazy jerk to abandon their shopping cart in the middle of the van-accessible disabled parking space.  A seriously disabled driver may not be able to get out and move the cart without first parking in the middle of the lane and doing the whole wheelchair-transfer thing there.  (Then moving the cart, transferring back into their van, parking the van, transferring back to the wheelchair....)

Mostly what it is, is that some person can't be bothered to walk their cart to the cart corral in the middle of the parking lots or to walk it back to the store.

Is it just my imagination, or are you in a place where the minute, day-to-day irritants are just driving you buggy?

Honestly, I've been in that state for quite some time now. But this one is just a general observation.

Sometimes I'll gather up a cart or two on my way into the store after I've parked, or when I'm putting my cart into the corral or onto the sidewalk. Sometimes I won't bother gathering other people's petty laziness.

However, I have to admit, I'd make a special trip to move that cart if I saw it. I don't yet have a hanicapped hanger or tag, although I'm moving closer to it on a daily basis, and I'd find someone leaving a cart there just as annoying.

If I were driving a van, and there was a shopping cart in the way of my parking space, I'd just hit it.
