Capsule summary: PT is progressing well. My left knee has recovered enough strength that I can now use my swim fins in the pool again, as long as I don't go full-out on it. (Yes, even in the pool, I prefer to use fins when I swim, because human feet weren't designed for swimming; fins give much better hydrodynamic coupling. This means I can make slower, powerful leg strokes instead of a lot of fast thrashing that mostly just churns water, all sound and fury, signifying nothing. Slower, more powerful strokes are much easier on my knees than fast, easy ones, and better exercise to boot.)
They've stopped having me do double leg presses on the reformer and have me doing deep knee bends with a large ball between my back and the wall to cut friction, because, well ... there's no point in me doing double leg presses on the reformer any more. I've maxed out the machine, and it doesn't go to eleven.
