No longer does my knee have sutures. I am informed that the swelling and bruising is normal, as is the upper incision,s reluctance to stop bleeding. (It bled a little more again when the sutures were taken out of it.)
Instead, I have a nice new knee brace that's supposed to help push my kneecap over to what's now the "good" side....... well, OK, the better side of my knee. Neither side really qualifies as "good" any more.
I also have a new order for physical therapy, for range of motion in the left knee and quad retraining in the left thigh. Whee, that's probably going to be another fifty bucks a week in medical copayments that we can't really spare. And I can tell you in advance, this round of physical therapy is going to HURT.

Re: Pain & Torture
(I often work myself harder than they work me. I know it's for my own good.)
Re: Pain & Torture
And he's right. More often than not he's the one who is pushing it, not the therapist.
He was doing Range Of Motion exercise last night before PT even started.
