I have just listed my CBR929RR for sale on Craigslist.  Not that I wouldn't rather keep it; but right now, we need the money more.  I'm hoping to get enough out of it that we can justify spending some of the proceeds on an older bike; there's a local dealer who has a white 1993 VFR750F that would make a nice replacement for the customized red '91 destroyed under me on Splat Day.  (Whether I'll be able to afford to make the same set of modifications to it right now is ... debatable.  If the Force eBay is with me, it might be possible.)

Selling my poor old baby last week garnered me more lame responses than I imagined... like:
"how much would you need to get it out of your garage?"
duh, the price I listed it for - did you see OBO on there?
"what if I offered you half what you are asking in cash?"
hmm... I'd say you need twice that amount in cash... plus maybe an extra $20 just as a stupid question penalty...
"when you give up and no one buys it, you can call me and I'll buy it for 60% of what you listed it for"
if I get to that point? I'll light it on fire and do a ceremonial dance as I sacrifice it to the motorcycle gods but I'll send you a picture of it for the price you are offering...
