So, I made bread yesterday with the bread machine, taking heed of ALL of the little previously-undocumented bits in the zojirushi basic-white-bread recipe.  And it didn't Chernobyl!  It didn't implode!  It didn't mutate into an alien life-form!  It did not, in fact, do any of the undesirable things previous efforts have done.  It doesn't optimally fit the toaster, but hey, you can't have everything.  I'm, er, test-driving it right now.

Oh yeah, and to the manufacturers of baked beans:  Once again, if you're going to sell "pork and beans", even with the "pork" part implicit, put in some actual pork or bacon, not just a big glob of porkfat that I have to pick out.  kthxbye.

I had beans on toast, no additives except a spritz of Worcestershire. They had cereal. I offered beans, but they declined.
