The Ballad of Eskimo ...... Lydia?

What would you do if you went out into the street and saw a polar bear a short distance away, eyeing up your seven-year-old son?  Well, if you live in Ivujivik, Nunavut, and you're a "tiny" woman named Lydia Angyiou, you go straight for the bear and kick its ass bare-handed.  She fought the bear, and apparently at least held her own, until someone arrived with a .303 rifle and shot it four times.

Don't mess with those Inuit women.
