Twelfth Night events?

cymrullewes wishes to do something for Twelfth Night, and has asked me to inquire of my friends list whether anyone knows of any such thing happening in the nearby area.

Ever make a "Magi cake? Sheet cake, plastic ring hidden in it [after it's baked, of course], then ice it... person who "finds" it, is king for the night.

I want to see if anyone is going to do a Twelfth Night feast like some of the SCA/Rennie groups do in California/New Mexico.

The only thing I can dig up is a 12th night formal dinner that's $35/person, white gloves required for women, and not appropriate for kids.

Heh. The best I found was in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia for tomorrow evening.

I might be able to afford the $35 for me but I haven't the white gloves. I've got that lovely grey blue satin dress that I could wear. Ask himself to point you at that Christmas photo from 4 years ago.
