Uphold and defend the Constitution?

Radical concept, huh?  That Government should obey the limitations placed on it by the US Constitution that is the foundation for its authority?  Shame the Government has forgotten all about that part.

FederalistPatriot hasn't.  They have a Petition to Restore Constiitutional Integrity up.  You can also sign it by sending email to sign-integrity@PatriotPetitions.US.  BushCo and Congress in general will most likely totally ignore it, of course, but still....

You have a duty.  Carry it out.

Ummmm, I've heard of the Federalist, but I haven't heard of the Federalist Patriot. You trust'em not to give it up when Tommy Treasury comes knocking? (I figure if you trust'em, you're more of a paranoid BOFH than I am...)

There is no perfect trust in this world. Sometimes there are causes and times for taking risks. Perhaps this is one of them.

One could also debate the efficacy of asking politely when the offender has already shown he's more than willing to use force to get his way.
