Huh. This is an interesting quirk.

So, here I am, logged in to LiveJournal.  If I open a new window or a new tab, and open my journal in that tab, there I am, logged in in that tab/window too.  But ... it occurs to me that I missed a detail in a comment on a prior post.  So, it being the fastest way to get to it, I pull up that post from my bookmarked RSS feed of my journal, find the comment, add an additional comment, submit ... and I'm not logged in.  Curious.

For some reason, if I open the post via RSS, that window/tab doesn't get associated with my login cookie.
