The next big advance in flight?

radarrider pointed out this article about a guy who may just have come up with a quieter, safer, more efficient replacement for the majority of helicopter applications.  This could be The Next Big Thing in aviation.

Minor icon updates

The animated panther for "mobility" is out, replaced by John M. Sheridan for ... well ... you'll know what it's for when I use it.   :-)

It was a toss-up whether to replace the panther or the white tiger (for martial arts), as to which was my least used.  But I hope to be able to use the martial arts one again sometime in the future, while I don't anticipate much more news on the mobility front.
