cymrullewes's speakers weren't working....

...so I got on the floor and crawled under cymrullewes's desk to check a connection, and next thing I knew, there was a two-year-old lying on my back blowing raspberries between my shoulderblades.  :)

Foot followup

"Nothing to see here, move along, move along, keep it moving."  Shot X-rays, looked at the big gaps where bone used to be, looked at the incisions that are healing up nicely, re-dressed everything.  (My little toe got tweaked sideways a bit in the course of changing the dressing, which didn't feel real great, but didn't do any harm.)  Next Wednesday the sutures come out; in the meantime everything looks fine.  A little drainage from the big toe, but hey, look what got done to it....
