Foot's less painful today. I find it ironic that the day after we get my new Percocet prescription filled, my foot drops below the point where I probably have any need to use it. The atopic dermatitis appears to be responding to the hydrocortisone, and the Atarax is helping with the itch.
This is getting sorta silly. I now have two forms of non-contact-triggered dermatitis (sebacious and atopic), both of which are aggravated by stress and by sweating. I feel like I'm starting to disintegrate a little bit at a time. We've got to get out of this place and this situation.
At least the temperature has finally dropped, which should alleviate the heat-related component. We actually had to turn the heat on. And it's now four days to my NASA interview . . . hopefully I won't blow this one the way I feel like I blew the AOL interview in February. Amy's manager expressed a concern that I may be overqualified, but I should be able to convince him that boredom isn't likely to be an issue.
"Yes, I'm aware that technically it may be a step down, careerwise -- but not only would this be a move towards development, which I've wanted to do for some time, but I'd be working for NASA. Do you have any idea how long I've wanted to work in the space program?"
