...my ears are sufficiently plugged up to make me slightly dizzy, and they won't clear.  Two pseudephedrine tablets under the tongue (ack!  Foul taste!) have so far not helped.  I'll try two more in a minute, but I sense an impending high-test red curry somewhere in the immediate future.  About three whole habañeros ought to do the job, at a guess.

/me votes for the curry as the preferred option.

However I tend to find that I really can't get decent and really hot Indian food to the standards I expect here. Unfortuntely I was badly spoiled by having a lot of Indian friends back in South Africa - the city (Durban) I lived in had the largest Indian population in the world (outside of India).

It's not just the curry, it's all the other Indian food that I miss as well, esp. around Diwali.

A second dose mostly cleared my ears, but yes, the hot curry is the preferred longer-term solution (and won't leave me dizzy or dry-mouthed).

A lot better. Didn't get my red curry yesterday, but two doses of sudafed drained them enough to relieve the pressure.
