Steve Fossett has landed the Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer in Salina, Kansas, just under an hour ago, becoming the first pilot to fly solo, non-stop, non-refueled around the Earth. The flight took a little over 66 hours. This feat comes after his solo circumnavigation of the globe in 2002 in a balloon, and his record 58-day circumnavigation of the globe by sail last year.
(Update: the strikethrough in the title wasn't showing up in my browser, so I amended it. I coulda sworn that used to work.....)

Last I heard they weren't sure if he was going to make it due to fuel concerns.
