Double agents

Our daughters, that is.  I've been referring to them for some time as "agents of brownian motion" -- they are responsible for all kinds of things migrating randomly around the house to almost anywhere except wherever it is they belong.  Recently I've realized that they're moonlighting as secret agents for the cause of gravity; or maybe it's a cult -- they believe fervently that gravity should always be permitted to take its full natural course, and thus that the natural resting place of any ofject is always the lowest-potential-energy state to be found in the vicinity, or, in other words, the floor; and that it is therefore their duty to assist everything possible in attaining that natural resting place at the earliest possible opportunity.
