...My grandmother died today at 1330GMT.  She went quietly, with my mother and my aunt Pat holding her hands.

That is all.

My condolences. I know what it's like to lose a grandmother. Mine also went the same way except that she snuck out when nobody was watching. It was simply a case of old age.

Mine was much the same... snuck out, that is.

I think you were right about remembering her as she was... I have no regrets doing much the same thing.
