I just had a very positive-feeling interview with UBS (think Gnomes of Zurich) in Stamford, CT for a support analyst position. I actually wound up talking to the existing support analyst in Stamford (who was surprised no-one in HR had talked to me yet). Subjectively, I'd say I pretty much aced it. (There was one SQL question I honestly had to shrug and admit not remembering the answer to, which was "What's the difference between an inner and outer join." The rest of the "technical" questions were elementary to the point of triviality.)
It's in the hands of HR and my recruiter now, I believe. I don't know whether there's an onsite interview as the next step, but I assume so.
