Odd mental experiences

So zeekar's entry to Livejournal brought up one of those odd little mental conversations you have with yourself sometimes, when you see a photo for the first time of someone you've known for years but never met face-to-face.

"Funny," you say to yourself, "I never pictured him looking like that."

"OK," you reply to yourself, "so what DID you picture him looking like?"

At which point you sort of stare blankly at yourself and make incoherent ".....Uuuhhh...buh......" noises as your brain throws a general logic exception....

Actually, this photo is about seven or eight years out of date at this point. I need to get Cymru to take an updated one the next time I have riding gear on. (We have more recent photos, but few of them are good.)
