Double standards, a game I can play but you can't

A disused Cumberland County, Illinois church converted into a bar?  No problem, neighbor.

A disused Cumberland County, Illinois elementary school converted into a (topless-only) strip club?  INTOLERABLE!

Residents here have happily lived alongside other sometimes-noisy organizations, such as the Central Illinois Motorcycle Club and the bar that opened in an old church up the road.

But even if it's legal, many residents remain fiercely opposed to a strip club, run by out-of-towners, in what many still consider their school in the heart of their crossroads community.

A small number of protesters still gather each night across the street, light a bonfire and post a sign that says, "Does your family know where you are?  Jesus does."

Yeah, but he's drinking at the church er, bar up the road right now.  Don't harsh his buzz, man.  Getting plastered in the (former) House of the Lord is fine, but God forbid a grown man should see a pair of titties that aren't his wife's.

It would seem that "God" doesn't forbid it, because I've personally seen several nice sets that weren't attached to a spouse. That doesn't count the several thousand sets I've seen in pictures.

I suspect that you could have put a full stop (and omitted the following four words) right before "that". After all, you're supposed to have sex with the lights out, so the grown man wouldn't even see his wife's titties...
