On <i<bad</i> pain days, I chew half of one.

Kills the time release function and makes all the nice drugs hit my system like a little anti-terrorist attack.

If the pain is sudden onset, I chew it and let the mush spend a few minutes under my tongue. This will sometimes cause nausea, and I do it only when nausea- which I loathe- is preferable to continued pain.

It used to work well enough. Then one didn't really cut it any more, and I needed two if I was in bad enough pain to need to try taking painkillers. Now, a double dose is ... barely noticeable.
