First, there's this.

And then there's this.

And then there was the discussion among friends in the Bitmines channel on ICB about preparations for a Superbowl Sunday barbecue, which included the line item "Fill tank."

Which got me to thinking.....

Dear Sirs,

I am writing to you to express my appreciation of your fine 115mm APFSDS ammunition.  I got out to my blind early and got set up in a good hull-down position, and about an hour and a half later, a nice 44-inch Boone & Crockett bull elk wandered straight out of the treeline at about 1100 meters.  I had a perfect broadside shot, and the light was just right.  One round, and that durn bull dropped where he stood, never ran a step.

I expect to be using this excellent ammunition for many of my future hunting needs.  I did find it a little destructive of meat and hide, though.

Sincerely, ....

"There is no overkill, only 'Open fire' and 'I need to reload.'"

Oh, hellyeah. What I'd give to have a tank when some hotshot in the Beemer tries to bulge in on a merge, or runs the left turn red arrow...

(I saw the dead tree version of hunting with the howitzer...)

Although, frankly, "destructive of the meat" *is* by definition overkill, particularly on such a delicacy as elk.... I want as much of that as I can get for *me*. Yummy in da Bear tummy.
