So, vorlon has this troublesome LeadTek WinFast PX6600TD video card that's been problematic and unreliable since I bought it. After ten months, I finally persuaded LeadTek that it's a problem, and got them to send me a replacement card under RMA.
The good news: The original card is rev. A1, the replacement is rev. F1.
The bad news: Early indications so far are that the replacement card is even more unstable than the one it's replacing.
I'm beginning to suspect that the heart of the problem is that this is just a crappy card, period, and that I won't really get rid of the problem until I can replace it with a different card.
The replacement card won't be made by LeadTek.

Crappy video card, can't replace the battery, Sourceforge being pissy...
But luckily you have a SCSI cable coming in so you can put in the HDD and start playing with Gentoo so you can talk to Deedra.
You know... we could try the Leadtek in mabolgamp.... it might just dislike your motherboard.
Could you put ICBM on co.ordinate.org and just link to it from www.icb.net?

No we couldn't. It's the wrong bus type. vorlon is a PCI Express machine, mabolgamp is PCI/AGP.

It's already there, and the link already points there.
