I never thought anyone would try this .... the next model of the Honda GL1800 GoldWing will have an airbag.

Here's hoping Congress doesn't see this, go overboard, and immediately mandate airbags on all motorcycles sold in the US.  As the article points out, the GoldWing is one of a small minority of motorcycles on which it is both feasible and safe, though Honda does plan to offer the airbag on some other Honda models in future (but doesn't say which).

Speaking for myself, I personally don't want either a V-8 trike or a GoldWing. :)

(On the other hand, a CBR1100XX would be sweet.)

that, my friend, would kill my knees after the 1st mile. i'd love to get a Rune or a Yamaha V-Max!
