The storm that came in yesterday didn't drop much snow on us this time. It dropped about an inch to two inches of ice pellets instead. It was warm enough that the ice formed a pretty solid crust, and now today it's warmed just enough from overnight that the surface if the ice is wet.
I just slipped on it on my way out to schoolbus pickup #1 of the day, and for only about the second time since Splat Day, was unable to do anything to save myself or break my fall. I went down hard, right on my tailbone, on about an inch of ice over concrete. I didn't quite see stars, but I couldn't get up right away.
I pretty much just don't bruise, but I have a feeling even I may bruise from this one.
